Industrial Bulkhead Coupler

Siemon announces the release of a new Industrial Bulkhead Coupler. The coupler provides back-to-back shielded category 5e outlets in a single Industrial MAX® shell to enable protected plug-to-plug connections. Used with Industrial MAX 5e plugs, this robust connector is fully protected on both sides to provide a true IP 66/67 rated seal, surpassing typical designs where only one side is protected.
The modular design allows panel feed-through connections without the need to punch down cables. The Industrial Bulkhead Coupler is ideal for use on enclosures with a protected connection on the outside to a device, and standard modular patch cord on the inside to a switch or controller.
The Industrial Bulkhead Coupler is part of Siemon's Industrial MAX product line and is fully compatible with Industrial MAX plugs, patch cords, dust caps, and accessories. These products provide a reliable network connection in harsh environments, for example, factory floors, hospital wash down rooms, food processing plants, warehouses. Industrial MAX protects connections from water, dust, moisture, vibration, temperature extremes, common cleaning chemicals and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The coupler's outer housing is made of durable, chemical resistant, industrial-grade thermoplastic and features Siemon's patent-pending bayonet-style mating design. The Industrial MAX Connector is recognized by the Open DeviceNet Vendor Association (ODVA), TIA/EIA TR 42.9 and IEC 61076-3-106.
